Saskatchewan is booming and major development pressures are arising almost everywhere in the provincial landscape. Sudden prosperity brings risks: how are we to protect and conserve critical natural landscapes as development pressures increase? Can we successfully integrate and balance development and conservation planning?
This one-day seminar is by invitation only however should spaces become available registration will be open. We are bringing together a cross-section of the Saskatchewan planning and conservation communities to identify the issues and options to better balance conservation and development interests. Seminar findings will be recorded, summarized, and published and are intended to contribute to the evolution of successful proactive planning in Saskatchewan.
